Kingswinford is located in the suburban place of the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley within the city of West Midlands in United Kingdom.
According to the census done in 2001 the population were more than 25800 and which was 25100 in the census of 2011. Traditionally this city was a major part of Stafford and it derives its name from Kingswinford and the name relates to the ford of the King’s Swine. The earlier rural community of Kingswinford was spread from Wordsley, Quarry Bank, Brierley Hill. The people and the kingdom of Amblecote and Kingswinford together formed the rural district in the year 1894. There are many places to visit in Kingswinford and people who come to travel this city will not be disappointed visiting this place. It got its name to the Kingswinford from the Parliament constituency in the year 1885 till the year 1950.
The Demography of place
Amblecote however was christened as a rural district in the year 1898 which left Kingswinford as one of the minority of single rural districts in the country. This place was then added to the Brierly Hill which was a urban district in the year 1935 and later on went on to become an integral part of the County Borough of Dudley in the year 1966. At later stages it was added to the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley in the year 1974. On the other hand the rural part of the community was added to the city Kinver in the year 1935 and that became a very integral part of Seisdon in the year 1966 and from 1974 the part of South Staffordshire. At present the existing economic focus of the city is on education, housing business and the tourism for the commuters. Kingswinford is located at the western part of the West Midlands it has its borders on the rural area sidelining past the Severn River.
