The lessons are very enjoyable and Mark is a very good instructor. He’s a calming influence sitting next to you in the car and is a very patient instructor and any questions I have are answered in great detail.
Customer Reviews Kingswinford Jack Worton
Mark was a great instructor not only because he was good at his job, but because he always showed up on time and never cancelled a lesson. Mark was very reliable and gave me the confidence and skill I required to pass my test first time. He was a great teacher that was able to provide me with good techniques and habits for driving correctly.

We are iPass Driving School and we are one of the main suppliers of learning to drive in the West Midlands. We have built a strong and healthy reputation largely through word-of-mouth.
Previous students who have successfully passed their driving test following structured driving lessons with ourselves have been only too willing to passed on our details to friends and family as they recognise the first class service we provide.
We have gratefully obtained business this way for quite some time and we are delighted that our clients are happy with our services. We provide driving instructors offering all kinds of experience.
There are two types of Business in the Driving Education Industry and they are individual driving instructors working as sole traders & then there is your driving instructor who works under the umbrella of a driving school.
Driving schools will normally take on additional staff to help with the everyday running of the business. Their duties will include answering the phone and scheduling appointments, taking care of all payments, promotion & more.
Once these tasks are taken care of then the instructor is then left to handle the driving lessons side of things without the need for further interruption. Driving instructors working alone will not have this luxury as they have mountains of admin to take care of amongst other tasks. A solo instructor has to do everything for him or herself
Driving Instructors will teach you how to drive and ensure that you are as fully prepared for your driving test as you can be.
Some instructors will work independently without answering to anyone else whilst others will work under a Driving School. There are as of now around 40,000 confirmed Driving Instructors enlisted with the UK’s governing body, the DVSA.
As demonstrated by an online money saving website, only 26% of learner drivers used fully qualified driving tutors (ADI’s) for all or most of their driving lessons.
The main reason given in the review by more than 2,000 as of late qualified drivers was that the professional driving tutors were simply too expensive, around 46% used friends or family.
It’s inconceivable that people would replace professional instructors with some people who simply have no idea & it might explain why so many learner drivers fail. Less than half all drivers who take their test actually pass.
It’s never a good thing to learn to drive with a friend or family member. We would not go to that person every time we need to learn something else so why when we want to learn to drive? Just because someone has passed their test themselves does it make them a good candidate for the job. They have no experience, not to mention patience, to teach you to drive.
It is quite remarkable to think that because someone has achieved something that it makes them an expert & yet the majority of people in a recent survey suggested that friends & family were who they turned to for lessons ahead of a professional driving instructor.
How do we know which instructor is right for us? We have covered a lot of information over this site & some of it should assist us in being able to spot a good driving instructor. Unfortunately most people believe that all instructors are the same. Obviously they are not aware that instructors can have self-improvement training & only a handful do.
What they will be aware of though is who a friend used to teach them to drive. Word of mouth is the absolute number one way of any driving instructor getting work. Most people tell others they know who they learned to drive with & if they don’t we are always asking when it comes to taking lessons ourselves.
